Houseofhrvst collaboration with Roeckl luxury leather gloves

We are a big fan of collaboration. Over the years we did some great collabs our selfs. And today we stumbled upon this collaboration between Munich-based concept store Houseofhrvst and fellow Munich resident and premium accessory maker ROECKL. The duo teamed to design eight co-branded leather driving gloves suited for both men and women. Perfect pair of gloves for the colder months.

They launched last weekend in Munich.

  • ISAORA 3L M65 TECH SHELL

    ISAORA 3L M65 TECH SHELL

Named after and inspired by the M-65 Field Jacket introduced to the US military 50 years ago, the Isaora 3L M65 Tech Shell retains its military attitude while updating the classic with modern materials. Like the original, this jacket features a stow-away hood, Velcro cuff adjusters, and multiple utility pockets. But unlike the original, it's made using a 3-layer, waterproof, breathable 2-way stretch nylon from Japan that's laser cut and fully seam taped throughout for superior moisture protection, and features YKK VT-9 waterproof zippers and an internal phone pocket — a big deal for those trying to keep their giant iPhones out of their pants pockets.

Winter is coming. So better get your ski-game up. We love skiing here at travelteq. We're always trying to keep innovating in our techniques. But this will make skiing a lot smarter. The Forcite Alpine Smart Snow Helmet is more wearable computer than headgear, and lets you replace a whole bag full of stuff with a single item. Made with an ABS outer shell and EPS protective core, it offers a host of built-in features that typically require extra gear, like a 4K action cam, an integrated trail light, sensors for tracking speed, altitude, airtime, and distance, helmet-to-helmet communication with a 200 meter range, and Bluetooth for both answering calls and streaming music.

  • Lightweight Electric Bicycle

    Lightweight Electric Bicycle

If cycling feels like too much of a chore, a scooter too much of a commitment and public transport too communal then the electric bicycle may just be the solution to your transportation woes. This increasingly busy market welcomes another option in the form of the Gocycle G2 from London-based Karbon Kinetics Ltd. A recent recipient of the 2015 Red Dot prize for Product Design, former McLaren Cars engineer Richard Thorpe has brought that automative mode of thinking to this portable powered cycle. At just 16kg, the lightest in its class, the foldaway Gocycle is designed to be packed up and stored even in the most compact of spaces.

  • Margot House Hotel

    Margot House Hotel

The Barcelona hotel scene certainly isn’t in need of another new addition but when it’s as beautiful as Margot House, who can argue. Located on the busy Paseo de Gracia in the heart of the Eixample neighbourhood, the hidden hotel offers just 9 rooms and is the brainchild of father and daughter team, Sergio and Sandra Durany, both with backgrounds in interior design and decoration. Said to be named after Gwyneth Paltrow’s character in “The Royal Tenebaums,” the look references Scandinavian and Japanese minimalism: white walls and linens, beach hut panelling, light wood, cement micro lamps and cashmere blankets make for a bright, unsullied finish, rooms ranging from ‘Cosy’ to larger ‘suites.’

Concentrating on the details, the hotel’s aesthetic extends to its smart branding from studio Séptimo, described as “a homage to old travelogues.”A 24-hour cafeteria, honesty bar, concierge services, a Brompton Bicycles hire scheme, a library and a reception shop, this compact new residence is out to please. Book a room at the Margot House website.

  • The Wohngeist Tool Set

    The Wohngeist Tool Set

Your average, sale-priced mechanics tool set, this is not. The Wohngeist Tool Set is an heirloom-quality collection of 24 tools made to last a lifetime and beyond. Included in the set is a ruler, chisel, file, hammer, multi-tool, multiple drivers, wrenches, and more, all made with high-quality materials by Germany's WohnGeist, and held in place with magnets so they don't spill everywhere. All of the wooden-handled tools have Swiss pear wood handles, which resist warping and splintering when exposed to moisture, and pear wood is also used to craft the included carrying case.
