What is Travelteq?
Travelteq is a Dutch design company based in Amsterdam. It all began when a group of friends decided to create beautiful and unique travel products. In 2009 we started off with the idea of designing the first intelligent cabin trolley case.
We are all travelers and we have had a hard time finding products to satisfy us and our travel needs. We aim to create products which are well thought out, innovative, and timeless. We're constantly searching for good design and quality.
We would like to share our experiences with our fellow travelers and inspire them to travel in style, and discover new places. Our blog contributes to that as well.

Where is Travelteq luggage made?
All leather goods are produced in a small factory in Italy. Our trip suitcase is produced in China.

Using the Trip
- For easy handling, the leg release loop
and seat release button are located on the
top of the suitcase.
- Pull the leg release loop for automatic
unfolding of the legs.
- Kick the legs with your foot to retract them.

Does my laptop fit your bags? The Trash 15 inch will fit laptops up to 15 inch, the Trash 17 inch will fit laptops up to 17 inch.
How do I treat the leather of my laptop bag? Don’t use any cream or oil. In case staining, use a dry cloth and rub hard.
Will the color of the leather change? Yes, due to the vegetable processing the leather will change with time and become darker.
Is my laptop bag waterproof? The laptop bags with nylon lining are strongly water resistant.
Will the suitcase fit in the overhead compartment? Yes, but only on IATA-flights.
How much internal space does the Trip suitcase have? 30 liters.
Ordering How do I make a purchase? * If you know what you are looking for, use the Laptopbags, Suitcases, iPad Cases, Notebooks and Wallets links.
* Once you have found a product, click the ‘ADD TO SHOPPING BAG’ button underneath.
* If you’re finished shopping, click‘Proceed to checkout’ and fill in your shipping address payment information.
* Now you can purchase your product.
Can I change my shipping address after I’ve placed my order? Yes, you can change the shipping address within 12 hours after placing your order. Please send an email to
info@travelteq.com.
How will I know if you received my order & when will the payment be processed? When your order is in stock, you will get conformation email. If you’ve chosen to pay by credit card, the cost will be immediately deducted from your balance.
Can I add items to an existing order? Yes, you can add additional items to an existing order within 12 hours after placing your order. Please send an email to
info@travelteq.com. Any later than that, you will have to place a new order and pay for separate shipping.
Duty Tax You might be charged duty tax on your product. This depends on which country or, in case of the USA, which state you are in. We cannot be held accountable for these charges.
Can you invoice to a lower price? No, we cannot.
Do you have duty free forms for customs? No, we do not.
I purchased an item which is now cheaper in the sale, can I have a refund? Unfortunately this is not possible. Discounts are valid only in the specified period. We understand this can be very frustrating, but this is unfortunately the nature of sale. We hope you’ll understand.
How do I know if an item is in stock? When you click on a product you can see if it is still in stock. When the product is sold out, you can see it directly.
Can I check how my order is progressing? When your order has been processed, you will receive a track and trace code by email. If the product is out of stock, you’ll receive your track and trace code the moment your product is restocked and sent to you.
Delivery The delivery process * All orders will be processed within 72 hours from the date of order at the shown prices and delivery conditions to the given address. Delivery dates are without obligation. For binding delivery dates a written guarantee is necessary. Please notice that different causes can highly affect the delivery dates. Our products are handmade in Italy and therefore there is a chance that our products are not in stock. If this is the case, we will notify you immediately when you purchase an item at our shop. If not you will be notified by email.
* Deliveries to non EU-countries may be subject to taxes, duties, import fees and custom fees. If you are unsure if this applies to you, please contact us by email at info@Travelteq.com. For more precise information about the costs involved please contact your local government or your post office. Calculate the costs potentially applicable to your shipment
here.
*The advised dates of delivery may change because of events beyond our control.
*For countries that are not displayed on the country list, delivery cannot be guaranteed. For further information or to make sure we ship to your country, feel free to contact us by email at info@Travelteq.com.
* If a parcel is returned, because the address was incomplete or incorrect, because you refused to accept it or because you didn''t pick it up at your post office in time, you will be charged for the shipping costs back to Travelteq BV.
How much shipping costs do I have to pay? You can check this in the order form after you have entered your address. The shipping costs will be quoted above the total costs.
How long will my order take to arrive? It depends on where you live:
Africa 3 - 6 days
North - America 3 - 4 days
South - America 3 - 5 days
Central - America 4 - 5 days
Asia 4 - 8 days
Oceania 5 - 6 days
Russia 3 - 4 days
Canada 1 - 3 days
Middle - East 3 - 5 days
Northern - Europe 1 - 4 days
Southern - Europe 2 - 6 days
Eastern - Europe 3 - 5 days

Can I have my order delivered to another address? Yes on the order form, you have the option of filling in a separate delivery address.
How will my order be delivered? Your order will be delivered by UPS air or road transport.
Which countries does Travelteq ship to? Our products can be delivered worldwide.*

Returns How do I return a product? * We gladly accept returns for any reason within 21 days from shipping date. Shipping charges are not reimbursed.
* In case you want to return the product, please send an email to returns@Travelteq.com with your order number and your return reasons prior to shipping your product. After written approval for return from customer service, please return the product to the address displayed on the delivery note.
* We will check all returned products. All goods must be returned in perfect condition, along with a copy of your initial invoice/delivery note. The product needs to be returned with its original package without signs of usage. The shipping costs for returns are for you. We will dismiss the returned product if:
- The product shows signs of visible use
- The product returns without original packaging and/or product tags
- The product is damaged as a result of return transport
If everything is ok, we will reimburse your payment (duties, taxes and other expenses excluded). In case of a return, you will be charged for all shipping charges.
* If the original product is in any way faulty or does not conform to the order placed, we will gladly refund the purchase price paid, the return shipping cost; any customs, duties and goods taxes (upon proof of payment i.e. a receipt), plus the original shipping costs. Likewise, no good will be taken back if it shows signs of damage or interference, such as
- Natural wear and tear
- Events out of our control e.g. natural disasters
- Signs of improper use
- Interference by the customer or a third person
- Extreme use or extreme influence by the customer
The items can be sent to address displayed on the delivery note. All refunds will be issued based upon the original form of payment.
*No cost will be covered should the product/s go missing during the return shipping. We advise you to send all items back with a transport company which provides a track & trace service.
Can I return an article for repair? It depends on the damage and timeframe. Contact us at
info@travelteq.com for more information.
Can I order items from your website that are not currently in stock? Yes, in this case you can order the product. We will ship the product as soon as possible. This might take up to two months.
Can I cancel my order? Within 12 hours or ordering, you can cancel your order by sending an email to
info@travelteq.com. There won’t be any charges. Once the order has been shipped, you will have to pay for return shipment.
Warranty * In case of a material defect in the product on our behalf, you have the right to choose a similar product in exchange, to withdraw from the contract or to request a price reduction, within 12 months for leather goods and 3 years for the trip, from the purchase date at returns@Travelteq.com . All requests are to be confirmed by written correspondence with us.
* It is up to you to check the products upon delivery and to notify us within 21 days. Failure to do so will result in a loss of your rights.
* Other claims for damages and indemnity are ruled by the provisions of Dutch law and we are only liable for gross negligence and intent. This includes our employees or other staff. Binding law terms (i.e. law of product liability) are not affected.
